We’re Hiring at Wufoo!

By Kevin Hale · January 15th, 2013

Hello fellow Wufooers! Last year, the Wufoo Team went all out working with our brothers and sisters at SurveyMonkey to migrate a number of our services to their super snazzy infrastructure and billing platform. With these improvements now in place and all our vegetables eaten, we’re ready to hire some new friends to help us work on dessert! Today, we’re looking to add two talented and passionate individuals to come work with our awesome team to take Wufoo to the next level.

Both of these positions come with a lot of responsibility, but also a freedom to design and build for an audience unlike any other. If you’re looking to work alongside some of the very best at creating delightful experiences on the web, please consider applying and joining our team!

Product Manager (Palo Alto, CA)

Did you know that Leonardo da Vinci and Machiavelli were friends back in the day? Yeah, they tried to steal a river once. Our ideal candidate for this position embodies the spirit of their friendship, ingenuity and audacity to change the world. Like them, you’ll need to be a true Renaissance man (or woman) and be able to juggle both the practical requirements of our unique technology stack and the hearts and minds of our beloved users.

Product Managers at Wufoo also have a proud tradition of leading their teams not through written specs, but inspirational design. That means you’ll need to show you have a good eye, a strong sense of taste and a background in user experience and design. People who can wireframe and build their own rapid prototypes will be most desired.

Web Application Developer (Palo Alto, CA)

Engineers at Wufoo are a special breed. They tend to be part Nikola Tesla and part Disney Imagineer. We like them to be experts in their field, surprisingly humble and love what they do in a way they cannot hide it.

We’re looking for people with a penchant for innovative front-end engineering that pushes the envelope of what web apps can do while putting smiles on peoples faces. You should be able to gracefully balance performance, elegance and wit both in your code and in your interactions with our users and fellow teammates.

  4. How many ways can you send the message that you only want white men to apply for these jobs? Did it not strike anyone that perhaps you might want to use more diverse images to illustrate the positions? Or that putting women in parentheses (like an afterthought) might signal that women are not the first people you imagine occupying these roles? Try harder.
