FAQs
Introduction
Logging into Wufoo will allow you to access the administrative features of Wufoo, including creating and editing forms or reports, viewing your data, or changing your account information.
To login to your Wufoo account, click on “Login” in the top right of most Wufoo pages. You will need both the email you created your account with, and your password. Once you’ve provided the necessary information, it will be sent securely to our servers via SSL. A successful login will then redirect you to your Wufoo account.
Requirements
To be able to log into Wufoo, you will need the email address you created your account with, as well as your password. If you don’t have a Wufoo account, you can get started with the “Create one now” link.
Flash 6 or higher and JavaScript are required to use Wufoo, along with one of the browsers below.
Browsers
We will not prevent you from logging in with any browser, but please note that only IE6, IE7, IE8 Firefox, and Safari are officially supported by Wufoo.
Where to Log In
If you are the Account Creator for your account, there are two places to log into Wufoo. The first is easy to find. Just locate the dinosaur login link in the upper right corner of any Wufoo page.
You can also go directly to the login page using the following URL https://secure.wufoo.com/login
If you are not the account creator (your account was created by someone else to give you access to an already created Wufoo account from User Management , you’ll need to use the login from a different URL. You cannot login from the link on the Wufoo homepage or from the link above. You can find the correct link on the account creation email that was sent to you when the Account Creator or Admin on the Wufoo account created your access. That login URL will look something like this:
https://username.wufoo.com/login
Where username is the name of the Wufoo account. You can read more on this topic.
Logging Into Wufoo
At the login screen, enter your email address and password to login. Your information will be transmitted over an encrypted SSL connection and you will be taken to the Form Manager page on a successful login.
Check the Remember me box to skip the login procedure in the future. This is not recommended for public or shared computers.
Forgot Password
If you have forgotten your password, click on the ‘Forgot your password?” link from the login page. You will then be prompted to enter your email. Enter your email, and press submit. This will cause a new, random password to be generated for you, and it will be sent to your email address. Once you receive the new password, you may login to Wufoo and reset it to your desired password under the “Account” tab.
What if my email address is not found?
If you receive the error that your email address is not found, one of the following problems is occurring:
When you made your account, you made a typo. Contact our support team and send them your username (or a link to one of your forms) to have the email retrieved.
You are trying to login at an incorrect URL. If you are the account creator, try logging in at https://secure.wufoo.com/login
If you are a sub user (not the account creator) make sure you are logging in at:
https://username.wufoo.com/login/
Where username is equal to your account username. You can read more on this topic.
Why didn’t I receive a new password?
If you filled out the Forgot Password form, and did not receive an email with your new password, please be sure to check your spam folder. If the message is not in your spam folder, it is also possible that your email account is rejecting incoming mail. As a last resort, you can contact us - all requests will need to come from the email registered to the account, and if you have a paying account please provide the last 4 digits of your credit card.
